15th Runder Tisch GIS seminar

March is shaping up to be a busy month for GAF AG as the Software Development Unit will be exhibiting alongside the Environment Unit at three public sector events in a row: the 15th Runder Tisch GIS seminar, the Geoinformation 2010 conference and the Komcom 2010 trade fair. With future developments firmly in focus, the key message of the GAF AG exhibition appearances will be the comprehensive nature of GAF services and their adherence to international industry standards. Displays will centre on the company's latest GIS software solutions as well as mapping and monitoring products. For example, a prototype of an advanced web-GIS technology will illustrate the company's well-established INSPIRE/OGC standards based developments using thematic environmental data developed in-house (EuroMaps-LC), a live demo of the latest 3D software (ExplorationMapper) will showcase the GAF AG expertise in elevation models and exploration data, and the use of mobile GIS technology (GeoRover) for managing user-generated geoinformation will be demonstrated.
