GAF supports the European GMES initiative, which is being implemented by the European Commission and the European Space Agency (ESA). GAF plays a leading role in several GMES programmes.
Since 2007, GAF AG has initiated REDD pilot projects in Bolivia and Cameroon and will be implementing REDD services in the Republic of Congo, Gabon and Laos with ESA support from 2009-2012.
