Land Cover Data is an important input to a variety of applications, ranging from telecommunication planning to ecological and climatological modelling.

Land Cover Data can be derived by GAF from satellite images worldwide. GAF also maintains a stock of previously generated datasets.

Urban clutter, Germany

GAF offers high quality urban geometries of entire Germany processed for and owned by E-Plus. The data provide classes of urban density as well as a variety of utilization categories. The geometries base on very high resolution satellite data and are fully interoperable with digital maps and street layers.
The quality of the data is assured by intensive internal quality controls and external quality checks performed by E-Plus.
