Spot DEM

GAF distributes SPOT DEMs and other SPOT 3D products (Reference3d, Spot DEM Precision) under a sales agreement between GAF and Spot Image, France.

A SPOT DEM is a digital elevation model produced by automatic correlation of stereopairs acquired by the HRS instrument on SPOT 5. SPOT DEM includes "first surface" elevations including vegetation and man-made structures.

Quality

Vertical accuracy for slopes < 20% is <10 meters LE90 (for large areas and areas available in Reference3d) and <20 meters LE90 (for small areas not available in Reference3d)
