GAF AG stellt seit einem Jahr mit großem Erfolg kommerzielle Satellitenbilddaten für ZKI-DE bereit

Die GAF AG blickt auf ein sehr erfolgreiches erstes Jahr der Kooperation mit dem Zentrum für satellitengestützte Kriseninformation (ZKI) des DLR zurück. In zahlreichen Notfall-Aktivierungen seit September 2014 konnte ein im 12/7/365-Modus verfügbares GAF-Team hochaktuelle Satellitenbilddaten für den vom Bundesministerium des Innern (BMI) ins Leben gerufenen nationalen ZKI-DE Dienst schnell und zuverlässig bereitstellen. Im Rahmen des GAF-Vortragsprogramms der Intergeo 2015 auf dem Stand C6.059 werden die Aktivitäten im Bereich der 12/7 und 24/7 Notfallkartierung vorgestellt.

"GET INFORMED DIRECTLY" is the slogan being used this year on GAF's booth at the Intergeo 2015 trade fair being held in Stuttgart.

Together with our partners e-GEOS, European Space Imaging, BlackBridge and the Verband Runder Tisch GIS (RTG - GIS Round Table Association), the booth (no. C6.059 hall 6) will form again a central point of interest for satellite data, geo-information and associated services.

As last year we have a big presentation area integrated on our booth.

GAF AG and partners monitor changes at Natura2000 sites across Europe

As part of the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service’s local component, a European consortium headed by GAF AG is conducting a detailed assessment of land cover/land use changes at more than 750 European Natura2000 sites, on behalf of the European Environment Agency (EEA) and funded by the European Union.

GAF to implement its eMC+ electronic Mining Cadastre framework in Burkina Faso

GAF AG is pleased to announce the award of a contract to support the Ministry of Mines and Energy in Ouagadougou in establishing a new computerised mining cadastre and registry system in Burkina Faso.

The overall project objective is to improve governance in the mining sector by establishing a modern, web-based system for granting and managing mineral rights. The efficient, transparent, and reliable administration of such titles is considered to be a key factor in increasing growth and investment in the mining sector in Burkina Faso.

Gabon mining sector project awarded to GAF

GAF AG, Germany and its partner Sofreco, France, are pleased to announce the awarding of the “Renforcement des Capacités de l’ Administration des Mines" contract and the initiation of activities in Gabon. The client and beneficiary is the Ministry of Mines, Industry and Tourism in Gabon. The project has been launched as a response to Gabon’s request for assistance in developing its mineral sector.
