From 3rd to 6th of February 2014, GAF will attend the annual African Mining INDABA conference for natural resources professionals in Cape Town, South Africa. Representatives of the company will be on hand at the booth of the Nigerian Ministry of Mines and Steel Development - MMSD - (booth #2705) in order to provide information and details about the major developments in Nigerian mining activities in recent years and to present the Computerised Mining Cadastre, a mineral titles management solution established at the Nigeria Mining Cadastre Office (MCO).
GAF will be available to present the MCO, including the Computerised Mining Cadastre, and to discuss mining activities in Nigeria. The Computerised Mining Cadastre was established in 2012 and has made a very positive contribution to MCO's capacities and business efficiency.As stated by Director General Eng. Mohamed K. Amate: "the MCO, as well as our numerous investors, will greatly benefit from the resulting full transparency of our cadastral activities, the increased operational efficiency, and the enhanced security of tenure of mineral titles.
