GAF is also one of the most experienced European service providers in the EU/ESA Copernicus programme, with many years of service implementation for the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service, the Emergency Management Service, the Security and In-Situ Service Components.

GAF is an e-GEOS (Telespazio/ASI) company located in Munich and Neustrelitz, Germany – embedded in the Space Alliance of European high-tech leaders Leonardo and THALES.

GAF AG is constituted as a stock company registered at the commercial register of the Munich District Court (HRB 140509). Under German stock corporation law, operative management and supervisory functions are strictly separated.

The Telespazio Group

GAF’s shares are not publicly traded and are held by e-GEOS S.p.A., Matera, Italy, a company 80 % controlled by Telespazio S.p.A. with 20 % participation by the Italian Space Agency (ASI). Telespazio is a joint Leonardo S.p.A. (67 %) and Thales S.A. (33 %) company.
