Under German company law, the company is managed by one CEO, who represents the company and conducts its day-to-day business operations.
GAF is a limited liability company (Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung – GmbH) and held by e-GEOS S.p.A., Matera, Italy, a company 80 % controlled by Telespazio S.p.A. with 20 % participation by the Italian Space Agency (ASI). Telespazio is a joint Leonardo S.p.A. (67 %) and Thales S.A. (33 %) company.
